Nails Of The Day

I wanted to do something a bit different than the usual on my nails today. I bought make up sponges a while back to try gradients but after attempting them twice I became a bit discouraged and didn't bother anymore. I thought I would get them out and try gradients again but then I had a second thought and I wanted to mess around with different designs on the sponges to see how they would turn out. I used Julep's Claire and China Glazes Purple Panic because they were 2 of the polishes that I have that didn't soak very much into the make up sponges and I made 2 lines with Claire and 3 with Purple Panic. I didn't try to make them very straight, I wanted them to be a bit messy and I went over each nail with the sponge 3 times and on the 3rd time, I placed it a little bit differently so all 3 coats weren't lined up perfectly on top of each other. I really like how they turned out and in a way they remind me of the Cheshire Cat from Alice In Wonderland.
